Indian Space Research Organisation Successfully Launches 36 Satellites

Sriharikota: In a remarkable achievement, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched 36 satellites in a single mission today. The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C37) carried 30 foreign satellites along with one Indian satellite from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

This is ISRO's 39th consecutively successful mission and sets a new record for the organization. The satellites belong to customers from 14 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, and Switzerland.

ISRO Chairman K. Sivan congratulated the team, saying "This mission demonstrates India's growing capabilities in the global space market. We are committed to providing cost-effective space solutions to the world."

The successful launch has boosted India's position as a major player in the commercial space sector, with ISRO earning significant revenue from satellite launches.
